Wizkid “Made In Lagos” becomes the first album by an African act to chart on the UK Apple Music Top 10 two months after its release

Wizkid is ending 2020 on a high note, setting a record with his latest album — Made In Lagos — becoming the first album by an African artiste to remain on the UK Apple Music Top 10 two months post-release.

Wizkid released his very much anticipated album, “Made In Lagos” on the 30th of October, drawing massive interest and streams among fans, critics and listeners of his music.

“Made In Lagos” peaked at No. 1 on the UK Apple Music during its first week, becoming the first Nigerian and African album to achieve such but currently sits at No. 7 on the year-end UK Apple Music charts, keeping its Top 10 spot sealed two months later.

Adding fuel to the flame “Made In Lagos” has generated, it is the only album by an African artiste on the UK Apple Music Top 60 charts. That just chose to prove the impressive feat WizKid and “Made In Lagos” has achieved.

Yemi Alade and Patoranking spark dating rumours

“Abule” crooner Patoranking might be dating Self-proclaimed ‘Mama Africa’ Yemi Alade according to a recent post by the Reggae-Dancehall singer.

Without giving further details on the relationship status between himself and the Pop singer, Yemi Alade, Patoranking posted pictures of her with the caption: “Mon Bébé [love emoji]” which translates to My Baby in English.

To which Yemi Alade fuelled the dating speculations with the comment: “Thanks papi” with loved up emojis attached.

This generated a lot of interests from fans of both artiste, with one of them asking if they were dating in French to which Patoranking also replied in French, saying: “Mon Cherie” which means My Dear in English, probably in confirmation to Yemi Alade and him being a thing now.

On A Spaceship artiste, Buju alias Buju to your ears, drops the video to his single — So Lovely — which was released on December 2, 2020.

The settings for So Lovely is a night club and is shot and directed by upcoming cinematographer – The Alien; So Lovely video showcases a lot of dance scenes while Buju basically does his thing, caress the tune with his nice vocals.

Sia and Burna Boy get animated on “Hey Boy” visuals

The music video for the much anticipated collab between Sia Furler and Burna Boy has finally arrived and it is a joy to watch!

Sia and Burna are animated characters for the Rafatoon directed video for Hey Boy. Sia is spotted in her trademark face-covering blonde and black wig.

Burna Boy enters with the words: “If you come closer babe / Make I put you for my roster babe” and he meant that to the core, as his character’s first appearance which has semblance with a wolf (or maybe dog) is seen sitted between two female zebra characters with other booties character surrounding him.

Sia’s character perfoms for an audience which ranges from humans to cyborg animals before transitioning to a trippy field, where Burna Boy appears too.
