The Experience 15th edition to hold virtually

The 2020 edition of The Experience, an all-night gospel show, will hold carefully as a virtual concert,says the coordinators of the program.

The program, which has become a most loved yearly occasion for gospel music darlings.

Presently in its fifteenth year, the yearly occasion facilitated by the Senior Pastor of House On The Rock, Paul Adefarasin, features multi-gifted and dynamic gospel artistes from various parts of the world.

The previous 14 editions were held at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos and each social occasion arrived at the midpoint of a participation of more than 500,000 individuals, making it ostensibly the biggest gospel show on Earth .

However, the coordinators of the program declared for the current week that the occasion won’t hold at the extensive space in the Tafawa Balewa Square, a choice taken to keep up physical separating in the midst of the Covid pandemic.

The Experience 15 (Global Edition), is scheduled to hold on Friday, 11th December, 2020 virtually, livestreamed around the world, serving as a platform to unify the global Church and establish God’s Kingdom here on earth,” the organisers wrote on the event website.

“Yes, we had the last 14 editions together mainly in one place, yet now we are not apart, we are still in this together as we go global with the #TE15G. There are no barriers and nothing can stop us, our God deserves our praise all the way, and He will have it,” @TheExperienceLG tweeted.

This year’s concert will contain great performances locally and internationally from the likes Don Moen, Tope Alabi, William MCDowell, Tasha Cobbs, amongst others.

Wizkid’s “Ginger” and “Essence” hold down the top 2 spot on UK Afrobeat Charts

Ginger by Wizkid and Burna Boy peaks at the top spot of UK Afrobeat Charts while Essence by Wizkid and Tems moves to the second spot.

Ginger previously peaked at No. 2 while Essence at No. 3 on the charts but it was projected for the collaborative effort between two of Nigeria’s finest exporters of music to eventually become number one someday.

Ginger displaces Yxng Bane featuring D-Block Europe “Cut Me Off” from the No. 1 position, moving two spaces to become this week’s No. 1 song on the UK Afrobeat Charts. Both Ginger and Essence are both featured on Wizkid’s October released ‘Made In Lagos’.

Drake delays ‘Certified Lover Boy’ release date

The Boy, Drizzy Drake has come to confirm his January set release date for his sixth studio-album — ‘Certified Lover Boy’ (CLB) — is being pushed till further notice.

Official statement released by Drake via his IG Stories says: “I was planning to release my album but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to rehab.”

He further clarifies his stance on dropping CLB this year, “I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”

Drake who had a surgery on his knee late October 2020, has been seen keeping himself busy with studio time and vacation on a Carribean Island in December was expected to drop CLB album in January 2021 as he disclosed on the ending black screen of his last music video – “Cry Now, Laugh Later” but with recent developments, fans would have to wait longer than expected.
