Fast-rising Nigerian rapper Superwozzy 
is not a newcomer in the Nigerian music scene still riding high off the monumental
success of  his headlined concert “Superwozzy life in concert” announces new music this week.
Superwozzy sits down with Wavyvibrations magazine to discuss how his sound has evolved as an artist, his driving force, Superwozzy life in concert.

He says: “I gat hommies on the street!! doing drug and scam, talents giving up everyday cos they never had a chance!!! they thought they won’t make it and never saw the light the wrong way is where the money at so we never do the right thing school was set-up, plus the preacher in the church.

They gon tell you to wait for your time but the future is in a rush!
They said money is evil so we are not planning to be good
All we ever wanted was to get our families some food and get them out of the ghetto”

What are the plans in view (EP or LP)
I have a lot
of songs I have recorded, hardcore hip-hop and club bangers, inspirational
songs, motivational songs, and I have my EP and mixtape ready (smiles…I don’t
wanna disclose the date yet), this year I am dropping a mixtape and next year,
my extended project is coming hard.

   How was your music career before

I feel
thankful and grateful to people listening to me it’s exciting seeing your song
become a popular pop culture slang, but I never let it get to my head because I
know I still have a long way to go, I am just working hard and smart to achieve
greatness (now smiling) they haven’t seen anything about Wozzy yet (laughs
again) Greatness is coming..oshamo  
I am going to
give you guys’ lots of good music and I hope by God’s grace everyone likes it
and the song gets everywhere.

Don Jazzy to celebrate birthday with 20 fans

Nigerian Label boss, Don Jazzy as of late took to his official Twitter page to share his arrangements for his forthcoming birthday celebration.

As indicated by Don Jazzy, he would spend his birthday, which will be coming up on Thursday, November 26, with 20 of his fans.

Noticing that picking 20 fans to eat with him will be a ton of difficult work, the artist gave them a condition to meet before they can fit the bill for the chance.

He wrote; “My birthday is on Thursday. And this time around I want to have dinner with 20 of you. you know to pick only 20 people is not beans. That said I am only going to be picking people that use my bank. #Vbank . I will be selecting later tonight”

21 savage’s brother murdered

21 Savage’s brother killed ‘during an argument with a friend’ in London .

Rapper 21 Savage’s British sibling was wounded to death “during a contention with a companion,” on a south London home.

Terrell Davis, 27, was murdered on the Blenheim Gardens home in Brixton the previous evening, November 23.

Mr Davis, a drill rapper known as TM1way, had been taking some shopping to his grandma when he got into a contention with an old companion, who out of nowhere rushed forward and stabbed him, a family source said.

Mr Davis was discovered experiencing a stab wound not long before 6pm the previous evening. Police joined in yet he was articulated dead at the scene.

Terrell Davis and 21 Savage – who was born in Plaistow, East London prior to emigrating to the US as a youngster – have a similar dad, Kevin Emmons. 21 Savage, 28, composed a tragic recognition for his “baby brother” on Instagram.

He said: “Can’t believe somebody took you baby bro. I know I took my anger out on you I wish I could take that s*** back.”

Master KG Wins 4 Awards At AFRIMMA 2020; Full List Of Winners

As usual the African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA 2020) couldn’t hold the usual way but thanks to virtual means, it was held yesterday night, the 15th of November and saw various acts in the music industry and music related personalities grabbing more awards to their shelves. The award show hosts 27 categories up for grabs and did bring up some surprise winners

Master KG turned out to be the most decorated artiste of the night with 4 awards for his “Jerusalema” single and remix as it saw him rack up the Best Male Southern Africa, Best Collaboration, Song Of The Year and the most prestigious award of the night, Artist Of The Year.

Rema, Simi and Burna Boy win at AFRIMMA 2020

Rema got the award for Best Male West Africa while Simi won for Best Female West Africa, Burna Boy got the nod for Crossing Boundaries With Music Award, Best Live Act goes to singer Flavour.

Top non-Nigerian or West African winners are: Nasty C (South Africa) for Best Male Rap Act while Eno Barony (Ghana) won for the opposite gender category of Best Female Rap Act. Sho Madjozi (South Africa) won the award for Best Female South African; Zuchu from Tanzania won the Best New Act category, Kabza De Small (South Africa) won the Producer Of The Year plaque.

Best Male East Africa – Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania)

Best Female East Africa – Nandy (Tanzania)

Best Male Central Africa – Fally Ipupa (DRC)

Best Female Central Africa – Soraia Ramos (Cape Verde)

Best Gospel Artist – Mercy Chinwo (Nigeria)

Best Video Director – TG Omori (Nigeria)

Best Dj Africa – Cuppy (Nigeria)
