Peter Okoye has reacted after he was accused of wearing a fake Richard Mille Watch.

The singer shared a clip of the watch and told his critics he bought it with his money and will enjoy wearing it in peace.

“Let me wear and enjoy my wrist watch in peace!  Shey na dem buy am for fake store for me? Even people way never ever see am before for real life or physical they follow judge!

“I dey my house with the receipt com beat me.”

A follower reacted to his post by stating that he would have been able to afford the original if he was still a team with his twin brother Paul as P-Square.

However, Peter disputed this, saying: “Wrong man! I’m richer now! No [cap]”

Rema, Burna Boy Leads Nominated African Artists for MOBO Awards 2020



The Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards have announced their list of nominated acts for year 2020 and in the categories concerning Africans and Nigerians, it is Burna Boy and Rema who are at the forefront to represent us.

Burna Boy and Rema both bag 2 nominations with the Best African Act and Best International Act while Wizkid, Davido, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy DML, Tiwa Savage, also getting nominated for the Best African Act category.

Rapper, Nines is the most nominated artiste with 5 nominations while J Hus, Mahalia, Lianne, Tiana Major9, La Havas and Nigerian-British singer, Darkoo all with 3 nominations each.

Reggae singer and rapper, Koffee, leads Non-African and Non-British Act with 2 nods in the Best International Act and Best Reggae Act.

The 2020 MOBO Awards is bent on showcasing and celebrating Black Culture, especially now than ever and will be aired on 9th of December by BBC One and YouTube Livestream; hosted by Chunkz and Maya Jama, both nominees for the Best Media Personality.

Laycon to premiere original ShowMax reality TV series “I am Laycon” by February next year



The reality TV show and Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner, Olamilekan Ageleshe, professionally known as Laycon has made an important announcement, furthering his career in the reality TV world.

The new show, a series titled – I am Laycon – a Nigerian ShowMax reality TV show, the first of its kind in the country will showcase Laycon’s personal life and his growing career in music and even more.

In Laycon’s words, this project is going to be “massive” and fans need not wait too long, as the pilot episode will be released in February 2021 and he confirms shooting of episodes have begun. Primary settings seems to be Lagos state from the video posted to his social media page.

A-Q leaves chocolate city to partner with Africori



The Nigerian Hip-Hop artiste has marked a joint endeavor to manage Africa’s greatest music appropriation stage, Africori Music Group.

Along with Africori, he will go through the following year and a half finding and subsidizing artistes’ vocations across Sub-Saharan Africa.

“I had a wholesome experience at Chocolate City, and I’m happy to have been part of the label’s journey to profitability”, A-Q says.

“I’m even more excited about my new business venture with Africori; I’m very passionate about discovering and nurturing talent. We are confident that the music incubator is what African artistes need right now.

We all know access to funds is very limited for young acts across the continent’, A-Q adds.

Founder and CEO of Africori, Yoel Kenan says “I am very excited to be partnering with A-Q on discovering and nurturing a new wave of talented and soon to be very successful artists from the continent”.

Heading issues at Chocolate City Music for around four years, A-Q helped to establish 100 Crowns, Choc City’s first subsidiary zeroed in on the Hip-Hop classification. With 100 Crowns, A-Q marked BlaqBonez, Chocolate City’s greatest artiste right now and administered the arrivals of music ventures from Loose Kaynon and M.I Abaga.
