Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has been diagnosed with head injury, after he imploded during their 4-2 loss to Atalanta on Sunday.

The Super Eagles star was thumped oblivious, in the wake of falling in the last moment of the game, following a crash with Cristian Romero.

Osimhen hit the rear of his head on the pitch in the wake of falling. He was raced to the emergency vehicle along the edge of the pitch and taken to the nearby clinic in Bergamo for tests.

A Napoli statement has now been put out that Osimhen had suffered head injury, yet different tests all returned clear. Luckily, there could be no other warnings from the tests, which he did at the Papa Giovanni XXIII emergency clinic in Bergamo.

He will stay in Bergamo under observation before he is released. Osimhen has had various medical issues since joining Napoli, as he dislocated his shoulder on international duty in November and contracted COVID-19 over the Christmas break.

Guardiola responds as Man City go 20 matches unbeaten Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola, has said their 20 straight wins altogether, might be the best thing they have at any point accomplished.

Ruben Dias and John Stones scored either side of a Michail Antonio finish to give City a 2-1 triumph over West Ham yesterday.

It was their fourteenth in succession in the association and leaves them 13 points clear at the highest point of the table, having played a game more than Leicester and Manchester United. In any case, having been discounted for the title toward the beginning of December, Guardiola’s side have been destroying since.

“In this period, in this era, with this situation, to be able to do 20, maybe it is one of the greatest achievements we have done in our careers, for sure.

“That doesn’t mean a title win, of course, but this period in time, the toughest period in England, the winter time, [to have] no one week of rest for three or four months, every three days a game, with the COVID-19 situation, injury situations. To be on this kind of run – winning, winning, winning – means mental strength,” Guardiola said.

Manchester City Manager, Pep Guardiola, has named Bayern Munich as the top picks to win the Champions League in front of them.

Guardiola’s men are on course to advance into the quarter-finals, following their 2-0 triumph over Borussia Monchengladbach, on Wednesday night.

Goals from Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus got the success for City, who have now won their last 19 games altogether.

Be that as it may, notwithstanding his side’s great structure, Guardiola feels Bayern Munich, who pounded Lazio 4-1 in their keep going 16 first leg on Tuesday, are better positioned to win the Champions League this term.

He disclosed to BT Sport: “When I see Bayern Munich I don’t think we are favourites.

My target is West Ham in three days.“If people say we are favourites, we have to accept it, but a team who, in their whole history, has been to a semi-final once? OK, they say it, we have to accept it.”
