OGD of NSG demands to be paid for voicing the “JAE5” producer tag

Published

Dennis Awotwe-Mensah, popularly known by his professional name – OGD, one-sixth of fast-rising music group NSG claims to be the voice behind the famous “JAE5” producer tag of renowned UK producer of the same name, JAE5 and at such deserves to be paid for it.

OGD started off by writing “Fun Fact” before proceeding to drop the bomb, “I’m the guy saying “JAE5””. OGD boldly asserts in conclusion of the tweet – “so he owes me millions”.

Rapper, J Hus was thought to have said the “JAE5” for JAE5’s producer tag, so OGD bursting the bubble in such manner took fans by shock.

JAE5 has been associated with NSG from the onset of their career, even producing their highest peaking song on the UK Afrobeats Chart, ‘Options’, so it is unclear if OGD is trolling or being serious about JAE5 owing him millions of pounds probably in copyright and/or royalties for voicing the producer tag.

NSG got mainstream recognition through their single – ‘Lupita’ and its music video – which eventually gave them their first MOBO Awards for “Best Music Video” at the 2020 MOBO Awards.

Blaqbonez shines alongside Buju and Amaarae on “Bling”

Published

on

Blaqbonez is already in album mode for his sophomore studio album—“Sex > Love”—(pronounced as sex over love), prompting him to release the third single off of the album, titled – Bling featuring Ghanaian low-tempo vocal goddess, Amaarae and Nigerian raving talent and one of the most featured artistes right now, Buju.

On Bling, Blaqbonez continues the Reggae/Dancehall signing theme he started on “Haba”, sticking to the script on the subject matter regarding the album, how he is not really interested in the love shone to him by the girls around him because they are only infatuated by what he can offer and obviously because he shines bright, i.e “bling bling bling bling”.

Amaarae and Buju as usual added their various spice, releasing sexual tensions via subtle to medium pitched voice to make for a sweet cohesion of sound, riding the mid-tempo Type A produced instrumental like a sport car.
