“New album tonight” – Wizkid

Published

on

Wizkid had fans excitation shoot off the roof with the text: “New album tonight [emojis] 11:11” on his IG story. Although some believe he is just playing tricks and catching in on the fun of April Fools Day by teasing an album he definitely will not drop come night time 11:11 PM tonight (April 1).

If Wizkid released the album as stated, speculations have it to be the deluxe edition of his 2020 well received and commercially successive album, “Made In Lagos or the sequel to “Soundman Vol. 1” EP.

Whether Wizkid eventually sticks to his words (by releasing the album) or not (i.e him playing April Fools on his fans) is left to him, but I am pretty sure die hard fans of his music—Wizkid FC—are used to Wizkid delaying of project(s) release date, just as he did with “Made In Lagos” for three successive years.

As at now, there is also an indefinite release date to Wizkid releasing the music video for ‘Essence’ with Tems following the video shoot which took place at Ghana.
