The African Giant, Damini “Burna Boy” Ogulu unremitting reign as one of the most streamed Nigerian (and at large, African) musician gets validated once again, this time around by Spotify.

In August, during the wake of his most recent album, “Twice As Tall”, he achieved the record of first African musician to garner 14 million monthly streams on the music streaming platform, Spotify.

Odogwu does not seem to take a break from setting records, as he has set yet another one, becoming the first Nigerian act to have all five albums cross the 10 million streams mark.

The five albums are: “Living an Impact For Eternity (L.I.F.E)” [2013], “On A Spaceship” (2015), “Outside” (2018), “African Giant” (2019) and “Twice As Tall” (2020).

His closest competition in this regard is Wizkid but unlike Burna, Wizkid only has 4 studio albums and yes, all 4 of them have passed 10 million streams.
