Controversial figure and On-Air Personality (OAP), Daddy Freeze known infamously for breeding self-righteous standards and critiquing Nigerian religious leaders, pastors to be precise and the tithing system in Nigerian churches, is being clowned upon by users of Twitter in Nigeria (Twitter NG) for getting himself involved in a sexual scandal and the huge amount he has to pay as settlement for the atrocious act.

Born Ifedayo Olarinde but popularly known as Daddy Freeze, he has built a reputation for himself by having an outstanding career in radio broadcasting and online via social media as a social commentator, choosing to condemn religious practices he deems unnecessary at will. He is always the subject for discussion anytime he uses his platforms to blast Christian religious leaders and their subjects but as of present, such is not the case, as he finds himself in the midst of a sexual scandal involving himself and a married woman identified as Benedicta.

Reports state that the husband of Benedicta, Paul Odekina (who has now divorced Benedicta on the count of adultery) charged Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze to a court in Port Harcourt, demanding to be payed a sum of ₦5 million for the damages caused to his matrimony with former wife and kid(s).

Users of Twitter in Nigeria, Twitter NG for short are known to get active in acts of savagery when it comes to addressing an issue that does not sit well with them or making fun of a character they are not really fond of and Daddy Freeze’s case is no different; they attacked his matter from the standpoint of hypocrisy, reasoning that a man will choose to full-on blast pastors and their practices but cannot refrain himself from acts of sexual immorality yet acting self-righteous in the name of social media.

Daddy Freeze refuse to pay tithe but will pay ₦5 million naira for cheating with a married woman’ is basically the focal point for trending Daddy Freeze today. Check some of their tweets below:

Afrohouse songstress, Niniola, known for releasing energetic dance records, defies her norm by releasing a 5-track R&B/Soul EP, titled—6th Heaven.

Cover artwork for 6th Heaven EP.

On 6th Heaven, Niniola not only showed her marvelous vocal range but proved to listeners she can make records that aren’t Afro-house/Afrobeat and that she showcased on a high note (literally).

Tracklist for 6th Heaven EP

6th Heaven is Nini releasing electrifying sensual performances through music. On the first track, ‘The One’, Niniola ticked all boxes reminiscent of a young Whitney Houston on ‘I Will Always Love You’; the second track is her boastfully assuring to literally take her sexual partner to a state, she calls ‘6th Heaven’.

One thing that also stands out on 6th Heaven is Niniola’s pen game. The songs are well written and she stayed on topic through out the entire length of each song and the EP by extension; maintaining the core all through the five tracks: love, sex and relationship.
