Lil Kesh and Joeboy ooze luxury on “Vanilla Bottega”

Lil Kesh is back again with another hit. He calls on Joeboy for this one titled Vanilla Bottega. Bottega is a high fashion brand notable for making big-budget high-top leather boots costing an arm and a leg to an average man but to Lil Kesh and Joeboy, money is not the issue as they brag about the affordability of this item and more that come with the lifestyle they are exposed to.
“But When I step in my new school Vanilla Bottega boot / Make nobody con step on my shoes”, Lil Kesh sounds off as to the expensiveness of the Bottega shoes he has on, asking for it not to be stained for he hopes to retain the value for a long time. Incase you are wondering how he can afford a shoe worth over ₦500,000, Lil Kesh brags, “I’m keeping my coool, cos my pocket is full / Jejely, Jejely, I be catching my cruise / Anything I buy, I’m buying for two / For me and my boo”. He ends the verse with the sound warning as he did before: “Don’t step on my shoes”!
Apart from the being able to afford a Vanilla Bottega boot, they, that is, Lil Kesh and Joeboy, sing about the plethora of woman dying for their attention, the flashy jewelleries to compliment their “drip”, their indulgence in the fast-life such as drinking, partying and touring the world which comes with a first class treatment. In short, they sing to their accomplishments so far, hoping to continue enjoying such opulence.

A-Q, Blaqbonez, Loose Kaynon and M.I Abaga join forces for collaborative project “BEHOLD THE LAMB”
Hip-Hop is still in vogue! Chocolate City’s comrades joined forces in setting matters right on the joint album—“BEHOLD THE LAMB”.

Chocolate City artistes M.I Abaga, Blaqbonez and Loose Kaynon and affiliate A-Q who have come together on numerous occasions, always featuring one another on songs and projects, have finally decided to set matters right, coming together on the joint album, BEHOLD THE LAMB, a Hip-Hop/Rap project.
LAMB is an acronym for Loose Kaynon, A-Q, M.I Abaga and Blaqbonez using the initialism method; all four rappers have appeared on three cyphers namely: Martel Cypher 2019, Martel Cypher 2 (2020) and LAMB Cypher 3.0 – The Last Cypher (2021, which also coincides as the last track on BEHOLD THE LAMB).
BEHOLD THE LAMB is a collaborative album by Chocolate City and Cordless in partnership with Boomplay, hence it made its debut on the streaming platform a day before the general availability on all DSPs on July 6. Asides from the four amazingly talented rappers who co-own the project, Chike (Snapchat vs Facebook), PsychoYP (Famous Sh*T), Ko-jo Cue (Receipts), Bien & Khaligraph Jones (Plus 254) all feature on the album.

The majority of the production was handled by late beat maker BeatsByJayy and the album—BEHOLD THE LAMB—consists of 10 tracks enough to satisfy the hunger of Hip-Hop lovers in Nigeria and abroad as they have been discussions in the country about the seemingly fading state of rap in Nigeria but with A-Q, Loose Kaynon and M.I Abaga delivering bars-on-bars over flows-on-flows aided by Blaqbonez’s versatility in singing and rapping and the topics touched on, it is safe to say rap is very much still in vogue in the country.
