Lil Baby Says “No more features”; Reveals Why He Accepted Davido’s Collaboration

Published

on

Atlanta’s finest rapper out at the moment, Lil Baby has spoken since being heavily criticised over his “So Crazy” featured track with Nigeria’s very own, Davido.

Upon release of the song two days ago, which is set to appear on Davido’s “A Better Time” album, fans have openly taken to social media, especially American listeners, to criticize the song, claiming such kind of track and vibe does not readily suit Lil Baby’s type of flow or rap style. Some even claimed he should have just stuck to his trap style instead of bending it to the Afro-infused Pop style, Davido is on.

Although not quite sure if that is the main reason behind him speaking up, ATL’s finest, Lil Baby did chose to come out the dark and break his silence, saying he will not do “no more features” (probably on other artistes songs) as he revealed, he’s on “album mode”. He also claimed he did the feature because of the money involved, which he claimed to be a “100 racks”.

To be honest, no one will actually turn down a hundred thousand dollars just to say some few bars in less than two minutes which won’t hurt nobody, that’s a smart move if you ask me.

Since he has revealed he is on album mode, then we should expect nothing but the best, judging by his past albums, especially his 2020 “My Turn”, which is arguably one of the best rap albums of the year and one of the only two rap albums to go double platinum in 2020.

Published

Omo Baba Olowo, David Adeleke, simply called, Davido, made sure not to fall for the trap set by The Shade Room interviewer last night on the IG Live he had with them.

As the Live drew to an end, the interviewer chose to ask Davido a question he is well accustomed to hearing by now, she asks: “Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy. Who is the biggest artist globally in your opinion?” To which a funny but unexpected response came forth.

Davido answered: “Mayorkun, his name is Mayorkun” even spelling his DMW label mate out word for word, he continued: “M-A-Y-O-R-K-U-N”.

Just last week, in a promo interview for his album “A Better Time”, Davido bragged about being the bigger artiste among the 3 to Ndani TV but chose to sarcastically answer this time around.

Mayorkun and Davido have collaborated on nothing less than five songs, with two of their latest feature coming in “The Best” and “I Got A Friend”.

“You a very stupid idiot” Kunle Afolayan angrily reacts to a tweep false accusation against his movie ‘Citation’

Published

Renowed actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, one of the forerunners of present day Nollywood, reacted angrily to a tweep (Isholanson @iam_Muideen) who falsely accused him of not adding English subtitle to the French spoken in his latest blockbuster – ‘Citation’.

The tweep @iam_Muideen tweeted: “@kunleafolayan Citation Is A Great Film No Doubt, But Non Subtitle Of French Part Is A Great Disservice To The Movie.” The tweep was caught red-handed as the movie actually had and still has subtitle embedded in it on the official release platform and streaming site, Netflix.

Isholanson, obviously has followed route of downloading from pirate and non-official websites and safe to say, he got the value of his money yet still audaciously came online to discredit the work put into the movie and to add salt to his injury, he had the guts to tag Kunle Afolayan on his post.

Kunle Afolayan did not take the false accusation lightly, rather choosing to blast the tweep for downloading the movie which was exclusive to Netflix from “unauthorized streaming platforms”, harshly calling the fellow “a very stupid idiot”.

‘Citation’ was released on 6th of November to be distributed by Netflix and as at last week was ranked among Top 10 movies in the world according to Netflix charts.

It’s World Toilet Day but Vector has decided to take his shit elsewhere, preferring to do the number two on Desmond Elliot

Actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot, who resides as senator over Surulere district has been openly dragged in the mud by rapper, Olanrewaju Ogumefun, also known as Vector the Viper.

The rapper took to his Twitter page to mockingly ask the politician: “Senior @DesmondOElliot its #WorldToiletDay today. Any groove for Surulere?”

In February last year, Desmond Elliot came under dire scrutiny for his commission of a public toilet.

Since Desmond Elliot became a senator serving at the Lagos House of Assembly under Surulere Constituency, he has done little to nothing (according to public’s opinions) to benefit his subject as he only chooses to commission haphazard projects (according to public’s opinions).

This infact is Vector the Viper’s main concern as he decided to sting the politician with his venomous words, mocking him for being inefficient.
