Infrastructure as a service company FinRik Technologies with host of products tailored towards increasing ease of doing business, is rolling out a new usecase for it’s Debt financing instrument FinRik LOC . The product named Founders credit is aimed at early stage business operators, startup founders.
According to the founder/ CEO Awoniyi Segun Gbenga, he said “alot of people have a wrong idea about the finances of startup founders and entrepreneurs, most people even think all the money raise that are being announced goes to the founders pocket, many startup founders are cash strapped with an illiquid equity, we want to change that”

In Africa SMEs provide an estimated 80 percent of jobs across the continent, representing an important driver of economic growth, but most SMEs in the continent are not maximizing their potentials, a problem FinRik’s new product FinRik Business School is aiming to solve.
7pm, August 21st, 2021 FinRik Technologies rolled out it’s first product, FinRik Academy, a marketplace for learning where anyone can be a teacher or student, in less than three months of launch, they onboarded 3000 users passionate about acquiring new skills, but there was an issue, the infrastructure as a service upstart’s CEO Awoniyi Segun, said “we noticed people wey doing copy and paste, zero due diligence in the courses they upload, the pricing was also out of touch with the reality of things in the country” this observation lead to a pivot and a total overhaul of the product, the pivot lead to the just launched product FinRik Business School , Segun said “it was not a decision I took likely but when data is in the mix,emotions are not allowed, especially when it comes to making important decisions”
FinRik business school, a cohort styled school for entrepreneurs, where business owners learn how to run a properly structured business either as a Cashflow SME or tech startup, and according to the startup, they plan to run the school all year and ensure it is 100% virtual.
FinRik business school (FBS) will focus on strategy, finance and marketing, the program will last for 8 weeks, according to the startup, as at the time of this publication, the first cohort is oversubscribed.
