Finally: Jude Okoye discusses the Cynthia Morgan Saga with Tunde Ednut | Gives full details about Mr May D’s claim

Published

Nigerian Music executive Jude Okoye as finally addressed “the Cynthia Morgan” saga currently trending on a live feed with popular blogger Tunde Ednut. These were his exact word.
I shot 13 videos, each worth 2.5M. If I have not made my N40 M, why the fuck should I allow you go? How will I get back my money?

“Did I chase her with a court injunction? No.

What exactly did I do wrong? I shouldn’t have let you go when I left? Your contract hasn’t expired and you left. I let you go.

Before she left, she wanted to change her name to Madrina says it means ‘Godmother. I advised against.

Jude Okoye:

I don’t own her name, Cynthia Morgan.
I never wrote her contract, she brought it and I signed.
I have spent over N40M on Cynthia Morgan.
I bought her the white Range.
I bought land for her mother.
She played secret shows and kept the money, but her manager said no.

Jude Okoye:

Peter and Paul are not fighting. Peter is angry with me because he wanted me out of Psquare. He didn’t want me as part of the group.

I have left Peter Okoye over 5 times. I have asked him “wetin I do you several times.” He says “no worry, no worry.”

Jude Okoye:

Have you ever wondered why no family member has ever responded to the lies and allegations?

You can’t fight the fans and win. They don’t care about how much you’ve spent. They just want their artist to be okay. They have followership. I can’t fight like an artist.

Tunde Ednut: Do you have a problem with Peter’s wife? You did not attend Peter’s wedding?

Jude Okoye: Let’s leave that matter or another day. I no wan talk about family boundaries and person wife. I no wan go that side.

Tunde:  Will you ever bring Psquare back?

Jude Okoye: Never! Peter and Paul have no problem. When two people are fighting, and one is fighting with the referee, who will settle the fight?

Tunde: Davido says she should call him. Do you still have a valid contract with her?

Jude Okoye:  My contract with Cynthia Morgan ended in 2017. For over 3 years. Why does she still have my name in her mouth?

Jude Okoye: There is nothing humanly possible, that I didn’t do. I left the picture. they said I apologize to Lola Omotayo. I did. They said I must tweet something, I did.

When Psquare hungry them to go do, let them do it when they are ready. I am done. I have my business.

Tunde Ednut: Cynthia Morga. Owes you N40M. If Davido does a song with her, is she free?

Jude Okoye: She’s been free since 2017. I’ll send you her contract, you can post it. How can I hold someone’s mama and papa name? She can’t blame me for her failure.

Jude Okoye: It’s impossible for me to take Cynthia Morgan’s name. I don’t have the rights to her name that her mama and papa gave her. Which court wan grant me that case? I have never held anyone. She left me in 2017, and that’s that.

THE END.

Jude Okoye on May D:

I treated him as a brother, gave him a platform, flew him across America, put him on a show with Akon, and gave him a home in my place. We treated him as family. We spent over $100k.

When I saw potential, I gave him a contract. He came after 2 2 weeks…

He came back after 2 weeks asking that he needed incentives:

A big car, a house in Lekki, and more, just like the Square. I said no. Paul spoke to him, he said no. I told him to go.

Nicki Minaj agrees “Essence” should be song of the year at the Grammys

American superstar rapper, Nicki Minaj, shares the same sentiments as myriads of Wizkid fans and well-wishers worldwide, in that she concurs to the argument the trendsetting crossover record-breaking single from Wizkid’s 2020 released “Made In Lagos” album, Essence should be in the conversation for the coveted “Record of the Year” plaque at this year’s Grammy Awards.

Although “Essence” did not receive the much desired nomination in the category for “Record of the Year” at the 2022 Grammy Awards, it did get a nod for Best Global Music Performance, the first of its kind.

Irrespective of the snub, Nicki whilie on Joe Budden TV (YouTube) as a guest on the special episode tagged A Conversation With Nicki Minaj & Joe Budden agreed with the host (Joe Budden) when he said “We need people on the Grammy board that know that “Essence” was song of the year” with an exclamatory “Right! Right!” response. She even proffered, “We should have our own Grammy Board“, in support of many and the popular believe that Black Americans or black artistes in general are always stereotyped to a particular category at the award show, if indeed they made it to the top categories, they barely win; Nicki Minaj does not have a Grammy Award herself and that is still a shock to many, especially when considering her refined catalogue of music.
