From “So Far Gone” to recently released mixtape, “Dark Lane Demo Tapes”, certified lover boy Drizzy didn’t hesitate to show off his vast array of discography on the trailer for upcoming album – “Certified Lover Boy” (CLB).

Immediate the video begins, you see a young boy who plays the part of young Aubrey Graham as seen with the way his hair is styled as he and Drake position a love shaped pattern on the front left side of their hair.

The 1-minute long trailer had easter egg laid on every scene of the well directed and thoughtful trailer of the CLB album. Just some very few seconds after young Aubrey shows, we see him doing an impersonation of his first mixtape – “So Far Gone” – as we can see spotlight being shed upon young Aubrey and confetti raining on him.

The 00:13 mark of the video shows Drake re-creating his first commercially and well recognised album – “Take Care”

The next scene sees Drake giving an impression for his “Nothing Was The Same” album

Drake chooses to skip his game changing mixtape, “If You Are Reading This It’s Too Late” probably because the cover art is just a plain white background with words written on it as he skips to give us a subtle mention of one of the best-selling albums of the 2010’s in “Views” as he shows top elevation angles of buildings, like I said this is a subtle reference so many people might not notice it immediately

Once again Drake chooses to skip one of his the playlist project, “More Life” as the next reference Drake put is to his 2020 “ Dark Lane Demo Tapes” as we see Drake dressed in all-black with a ski mask revealing his eyes only.

As we can from the screenshot of “Dark Lane Demo Tapes”, Drake chose not to zoom in on his eyes fro the reference and this is not a mistake as Drake subtly implements a character from the popular video game and animation “Mortal Kombat” as the character shares same name with the title of his 2018’s album – “Scorpion”. Yet again, Drake uses the art of being subtle to reference one of his albums.

Form the glowing eyes, Drake references the Get Over Here animated character in Scorpion.

As the video for the trailer draws closer to the 1-minute part Drake reveals the name of his upcoming album – “Certified Lover Boy” and ends the video revealing the release date of the album to be January 2021

You don’t talk enough, that’s why people don’t know you or your work – Ric Hassani claps back at tweep who accuses him of talking too much

Published

on

Since he released his 2021 Pop Soul album—‘The Prince I Became—and having the promotional single, ‘Thunder Fire You’ banned by the NBC, Ric Hassani has made sure to increase his activeness and engagement on social media platform, Twitter even more than ever, probably in a bid to increasing sensitivity towards his album and shoot it to a state of commercial success and the results show people reciprocating him with engagement on Twitter and streaming of his albums according just as the charts say. This no doubt, should be a win in Ric Hassani’s record.

However, for every good thing, there is a corresponding evil, vile, vain or bad; such is the case with Ric Hassani as one of his followers chose to criticize his recent increase in engagement on the microblogging app, labelling him a talkative.

The tweep (@raymond_alete) wrote objectively: “@RicHassani you talk to much, we love you but use [your] talking energy to work more.” in reply to a tweet posted by the singer where he decalred a collaboration between him and Fireboy DML would be “game over” for their peers.

Initially commenting “Na wa bro” which may be translated to English as “This is uncalled for bro”/“This is an unnecessary act bro”, Ric Hassani chose to take it up a notch by quoting @raymond_alete’s tweet, going full steam this time around, shamelessly blasting Raymond: “I may talk too much, but you don’t talk enough, that’s why not enough people know you …. or your work.”

Ric Hassani clamping down his accuser in such manner did not go unnoticed. Fans and users of Twitter made sure to make a big deal of the response, with majority of them taking sides with Ric Hassani, concluding he is actually right putting such kind of people in their rightful place instead of keeping mute and turning a blind eye like most of his colleagues would.
