“Aboout to start my third album run”, Ajebutter22 discloses

Rapper, singer and tech guru, Ajebutter22 is about to kick off the year by dropping his first official single for 2021 titled – “King Of Parole” – with the addition of a third studio album which is likely to get a 2021 release date too.

The music artiste revealed this news to his Twitter fans when he replied an inquiry from a fan on whether he is still with the plans to release new music this month of April, Ajebutter22 wrote: “Una no dey forget sha! 30th we move!

Later same day evening, Sunday, April 25, Ajebutter22 posted the release date for his first single of 2021—“King Of Parole”—to be released Friday, April 30th with these words of assurance in a second tweet: “Back to back from now, they [can’t] say I didn’t give you people time”.

After making the news of a new single dropping very soon known to fans, it launched euphoria in their heart but the “Ghana Bounce” wordsmith did not stop at that, going further this next day, Monday, April 26, to disclose plans of releasing third studio album since 2017 “What Happens In Lagos”. He penned: “About to start my third album run and the feeling is the same. The excitement, the nerves, the expectation.

Ajebutter22, a frequent collaborator with Show Dem Camp, LADIPOE, ,Falz and Boj, released his last single around same time last year ( on April 24th), with the title – “Big Man Talking”.

Moelogo “I” EP to feature Adekunle Gold, Laycon, The Cavemen., krishane and a host of other artistes

London-based Nigerian singer cum producer, Moelogo is on track to release his fifth Extended Play (EP) which features a whole bunch of top artistes across genres. The EP has the title – I.

I continues the trend Moelogo embarked on in 2020 with the use of  the first person singular pronouns in “Myself” (June 2020) and “Me” (December 2020), with the soon-to-be released I not having a date of release yet.

Moelogo will feature rappers Laycon and Alpha Ojini while boasting a tonne of male vocalists from LAX to Adekunle Gold to Reekado Banks. Jamaican singer, Krishane will also be a guest act on the; Nigerian highlife duo – The Cavemen. has a secured spot too, not forgetting Mr. “Alagbe” himself, Qdot. Ria Sean is the only female artiste to be featured on the upcoming EP.

Moelogo unleashed the artistes roll via his Twitter account, keeping the information precise. Therefore, what songs and in what other these featured artistes will appear on I EP is still very much unknown.

Oxlade drops new video for “DKT”

DKT, short for Dis Kain Thing (this kind [of] thing in English) gets the video shot and directed by Dammy Twitch for Oxlade.

The storyline of the video goes from early relationship bubly activities to the arguements and then back to the make up.

DKT music video is beautifully shot while the actors – Oxlade and his on-screen partner acted their roles quite well. The different scenery also make for an interesting and engaging visual while Oxlade lays his powerful and lovely vocals on the Spaxx produced instrumental.

LadiPoe and Buju toast to the good life on collab track, “Feeling”

I like the way I’m feeling now / No come use your reggae spoil my blues and rhythm now” Buju affirms with LadiPoe complimenting, “Way out my feelings, nothing can stress me / The way I run the game, I’m feeling like referee”, both artistes stating their confidence in their present state of mind and physical condition on new track – Feeling.

The song, Feeling is all about positive vibes, chilling and savouring the best out of the present moments, instead of being overly anxious of what could happen next. LadiPoe reminds listeners on the bridge, “So we toast to the good life / Living every minute to the full ’cause I could die”.

Buju brings his lovely vocals, serenading as usual and provides just the right ambience for LadiPoe to lay in his bars on the instrumental which switches between chilled and quite upbeat.
